Kristen is a 2009 graduate of Anderson University where she majored in Music and minored in Dance.  While there, she performed in numerous musicals, operas, plays, and dance concerts, and choreographed for many on and off campus events.

Since graduating, Kristen’s performance credits include Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre (main stage productions and kids shows), Motus Dance Theatre, and Yuletide Celebration with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.  In the summer of 2010, Kristen attended the Glenda Brown Choreography Project.  She continues to use the skills she gained there in choreographing throughout the central Indiana area.  She currently teaches and choreographs for the Spectacular Dancers at Pike High School as well.

In addition to her dance and musical background, Kristen spent five years as a competitive rhythmic gymnast.  Her newest adventure has been aerial dancing.

Kristen will be teaching intermediate/advanced modern dance and is excited to be a part of the talent at Ballerina’s Academy.
