Ann Heile
Noblesville
Ann began her dance training at the tender age of 3. Ann’s mother, Joyce, was searching for the perfect outlet for her dramatic little girl. Upon the finish of her first dance class with “Miss Becky”, Ann announced, “That was it!” and Joyce knew she had accomplished her purpose. Ann has never looked back. She has studied dance year round for over 25 years.
Along with Miss Becky, Ann studied with Dale Shields and Jack Copeland as a child. She also studied with Clark Blakely and Harold Uwe Kern at Indianapolis Ballet Theater Academy. Ann was awarded a partial scholarship in the computer science department at Butler University. While attending Butler, Ann took all of the advanced level non-major ballet classes with Roberta Wong and was asked by Miss Wong to consider adding a major or minor in dance to her degree. Quite a compliment to Ann’s ability!!!
Ann was a principal dancer with the Indianapolis Youth Ballet Company, where she has danced leading roles in Cinderella, Swan Lake, La Fille Mal Gardee, and Coppelia.
Ann began modern training 3 years ago with Lauren Beirne and continues this year, studying with Kristen Noonan.
Ann’s easy going and kind approach is sought out by parents and students alike.
Miss Ann currently teaches elementary and advanced levels ballet and tap. Thank you, Ann!!!
